How We Chose PudelPilgrim:
Philippe and Cami are both an absolute joy and have added a dimension to our family I did not expect! What a dream and treasure they are.
We were searching for a poodle to join our family. We were especially searching for a specific kind of breeder. I was able to connect with Aimee through a friend. We communicated often and then scheduled a visit to her home and poodle family. Aimee was everything I could’ve hoped to find …Loving, wise, delightful, caring, knowledgeable, spirit-filled, dedicated, respectful, and committed. I loved learning about her background showing in 4H and AKC and her connection with animals from an early age. Her relationship with her poodles and pups is unlike I have met before. We loved her holistic approach to raising her puppies in the heart of her home with round the clock devotion. Aimee keeps her property and home immaculate and the pups, too! There are no kennels or dog runs. The pups have a wonderful safe area to run and play. Cozy beds to relax and sleep. Abundant nature to explore and toys and enriching games are endless! She even makes their own carefully balanced organic grass-fed raw grind.
Aimee has a remarkable connection with each of her puppies and a special gift for matching them with their people. I appreciated how particular she is with the homes she places her puppies in. We have remained connected and she is always available for all our questions, concerns and celebrations. It has been fun to learn so much from her about nutrition, vaccines, training, grooming …you name it.
Philippe and Cami are the smartest dogs and amazing athletes to witness off-leash on acres of grass or the beach. It took me months to trust they would come back to me! Aimee helped me with this. Over the years I have had wonderful dogs but not one that would come back to me when off leash, or choose me over the deer or squirrel!
I would recommend Aimee and her pups to anyone looking for a wonderful poodle. I would gladly talk to anyone wanting to know more about my experience with PudelPilgrim Poodles.

Bringing these precious souls into the world and raising them the way I do is part of my pilgrimage to share the loving power of my Pudels with others.
My love for animals began as a small child. I grew up with poodles but started showing in obedience and showmanship in 4-H with my border collie ‘Lucky’. I titled my first show dog in AKC
Bringing these precious souls into the world and raising them the way I do is part of my pilgrimage to share the loving power of my Pudels with others.
My love for animals began as a small child. I grew up with poodles but started showing in obedience and showmanship in 4-H with my border collie ‘Lucky’. I titled my first show dog in AKC obedience at 14 years old with my sheltie ‘Christopher’ that I bought with my babysitting money. Over the years I have enjoyed many facets of training from obedience to agility to service dog training and animal assisted therapy.
Breeding is a newer endeavor for me that started in 2019. I have been transformed by the power of joy and healing that my puppies bring into the lives of their people. I started my daily blog on instagram because I believe in showing not telling. I virtually welcome you into my home to witness how I live, love and work with my Pudels (German for Poodle) from the moment they are born.

Thank you Peter I still haven’t arrived at a clear concise answer ...and maybe I never will. I do know my page is an expression of my deepest heart. It keeps me returning over and over to what matters most to me. It is my way of offering, connecting, sharing who I am with the world. PudelPilgrimville is a hermitage of sorts that has offered me a sacred space and quiet beauty to continue healing. To live my own particular color of purpose in life with my Pudels. Without shame nor apology. I am learning to compassionately accept that we all have different beliefs and definitions of success. The learning curve for me is to keep coming home to my Why. My heart. With each offering I pray that whatever I share may it land in the hearts it is meant to ...no matter how many or few. Ultimately to share because I believe in the power of Love and offering a little light in a dark world. ...and as Ralph Waldo Emerson so eloquently said: ‘To know if even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded.’ This is my why ...for today ~PudelPilgrim
